Design for film, television and live events

I've been creating environments for film and performance for six years, building a wide portfolio of successes from shoestring budgets to working for top production companies, including C20th Fox.

My film work is very character-driven - I think a lot about the texture of the environment as well as spaces and objects.

In recent years, I've designed and art directed several British feature films and some really exciting new shorts and promos, as well as working with some more established designers on large productions as props buyer/ maker and set dresser. I also provide storyboarding and illustration work. Take a look at some examples of my work here.

I love being very hands-on from the beginning - sourcing props, painting and building on smaller projects and overseeing every detail on larger ones - it's great to be able to transform a space that the characters can really take ownership of, and function in.
